Social Services may be involved with your family and Children or may wish to become involved in a baby is due.
You are likely to feel a lot of pressure and stress in such a situation because you will naturally be worried about their plans or intentions. It is always best to try and work with social services to ease their concerns and we will support you throughout and attend meetings with you. We will give you clear practical advice as to what needs to happen to head off social services and will help you with reaching an agreement as to the way forward.
Sometimes despite this the situation is so serious that Social Services will start what are called “Care Proceedings” and they may well be asking the Court for an Order that allows them to remove your child/children. We will help you prepare for this by advising fully on alternatives ie family placements, going into a unit etc. We will try our hardest to keep you and your children together or at least for them to be with family rather than stranger foster carers.
Our Vinod Sharma is a member of the Children Panel and an expert in effectively dealing with these difficult and sensitive cases. You are assured our fullest attention at all times.
